Terms of Use
Last updated: September 25, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Conexstra Technologies Private Limited (“Conexstra”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the MotoRoadies mobile application, website at motoroadies.com, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
MotoRoadies automatically detects and records your motorcycle and vehicle trips, computes a safety score from your riding, and offers community features such as ride Stories, Places, group riding, and leaderboards. Trip detection relies on your device’s location and motion sensors running in the background; you are responsible for keeping the required permissions enabled if you want trips recorded.
The Service is an aid, not a safety device. Safety scores and event detection are estimates based on sensor data and may be inaccurate. Always ride lawfully and attentively. Never interact with the app while riding.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.
- You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate information and not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.
3. Free and Pro plans
The Service is free to use. A paid subscription, MotoRoadies Pro, unlocks additional features. On the free plan:
- You can view your own trips, scores, and analytics for the most recent 7 days only. Older data is retained on our systems but is not shown to you unless you subscribe to Pro.
- You cannot create riding groups or send group invites (you can still join a group you are invited to).
- You are not included in the community or group safety-score rankings.
MotoRoadies Pro removes these limits: access to your full trip history (retained for at least 3 years), a safety score and rankings computed on a rolling 90-day window, ranking eligibility, and the ability to create groups and invite others.
4. Subscription terms, billing, and cancellation
MotoRoadies Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. By subscribing you agree that:
- Length and price: the subscription is a 1-year term at US$9.99 per year, or the equivalent price and currency shown to you at the time of purchase, which is authoritative.
- Payment: payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically for successive 1-year terms at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current term. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current term.
- Managing and cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Refunds: purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled under their respective policies. We do not process payments directly and generally cannot issue refunds ourselves.
- Free trials or promotions, if offered, are described at the point of purchase; any unused portion of a free period is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- If your subscription lapses, your account reverts to the free plan and its limits. Any riding groups for which you are the only Pro administrator become read-only for all members until an administrator has an active Pro subscription again. Your data is not deleted.
We use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage and validate subscription entitlements. Price changes, if any, will be communicated in advance as required by the app stores and applicable law.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit — including Stories, Trails and their photos, group posts, and profile details (“User Content”). You grant Conexstra a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display User Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including showing published Stories and community content to other users and on our website. Trails you publish are shown only to riders who share a group with you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights to it.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or encourage unsafe or illegal riding;
- upload content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, infringing, or invades another person’s privacy;
- post objectionable content, including nudity or sexual content, graphic violence, content that promotes dangerous riding or stunts on public roads, spam, or scams;
- abuse, threaten, bully, or impersonate other riders;
- publish photos or information that reveal another person’s home, number plate, or contact details without their consent;
- attempt to falsify trips, scores, distances, or rankings, or otherwise manipulate the Service;
- reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
- access the Service other than through the interfaces we provide.
Zero tolerance. MotoRoadies has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report any story, trail photo, group post, or rider from the app, and our team reviews every report within 24 hours. When content violates these Terms we remove it, and we may block the account that posted it. A blocked account cannot sign in, and its content is hidden from other users. We tell the account holder about any such action by email, and handle any further discussion by email. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and remove violating content, without a report.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including Google (sign-in and Firebase), Apple and Google (payments and app distribution), RevenueCat (subscription management), and mapping data providers. Your use of those services is subject to their terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that trip detection, scoring, or any feature will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that data will always be recorded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Conexstra and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Conexstra harmless from claims and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of a third party.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the app’s settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) survive.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will provide reasonable notice, for example in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to applicable law, the courts located in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
